Custom Listing - Billie Remake
This is a custom listing for a remake of a Billie ring from original order #1080 as the ring has been assessed as Damaged rather than Faulty.
Although the remake cost to Luxe by West was $1410 in 18k white gold (instead of platinum), I have offered to reduce this to $500 as a once off gesture of good will and have covered the other charges. Please note that should this happen again and be deemed as damage future costs wont be covered however full warranty still continues covering any manufactures defects or faults. I would recommend also looking at some kind of independant insurance such as Jewelcover or Qreport (just to name a few) that can cover accidental loss/damage.
The assessment of the ring is below:
"Regarding the cause of damage, the assessment confirms that the solitaire setting has snapped because of impact. The nature of the break is consistent with the ring having been knocked with sufficient force to shear the setting from the shank. This is not indicative of a weak point in manufacture, nor is it related to the ring being cast in two pieces. The base of the setting rod remains seated within the shank, further supporting the conclusion that this was impact-related damage rather than structural failure. For clarity, the setting basket is cast as a single, solid component. As part of that casting, the base of the setting includes a straight structural support rod that passes directly through the shank. During assembly, this support rod is inserted through the shank and secured, creating a strong mechanical connection between the setting and the band.
In the returned ring, this support rod remains seated within the shank and the shank itself is intact, albeit out of shape. This confirms that the join between the setting and the shank has not failed. Instead, the upper portion of the setting has snapped above this point, which is consistent with the ring having sustained a forceful knock rather than any issue with the casting method or assembly process."

Every Luxe by West piece is custom made to your exact specifications. Here's what you can expect throughout your bespoke journey:
1. Order Brief
We'll discuss your design ideas, diamond preferences, metal choice, budget, and any inspiration to create your perfect piece.
2. Personalised Quote
You'll receive a detailed quote based on your selected design and specifications.
3. Order Placed
Once your order is confirmed, we'll begin sourcing the materials for your bespoke piece.
4. Diamond Selection
We'll present a hand-selected range of IGI-certified diamonds complete with certificates and 360° videos. If you'd prefer, we're also happy to choose the perfect diamond on your behalf.
5. CAD Design & Approval
A detailed 3D CAD design will be created for your review. Minor changes can be made at this stage before you provide final approval.
6. Production
Once your CAD has been approved, your ring enters production. As your gemstones and materials have been sourced specifically for your order, no further design changes can be made after this point.
7. Completion & Delivery
Once your ring has passed our final quality inspection, we'll notify you that it's complete and arrange secure, fully insured delivery.

Can I choose my diamond?
Absolutely! Once your order is placed, we’ll reach out with a curated selection of hand-picked diamonds based on your preferred size, shape, and any specific ratio requirements.
You’ll be able to view IGI certificates and 360° videos for each option to help you make your selection. If none of the initial options are quite right, just let us know, we’re happy to source more until you find the perfect one.
Otherwise, if you prefer, we’re more than happy to choose a beautiful diamond for you.
How long does the process take
Once your order has been placed, please allow approximately 6–8 weeks for your diamond selection, custom CAD design, production, and delivery. While we always strive to complete your piece as promptly as possible, production timelines may occasionally vary slightly. Should there be any unexpected delays, we will keep you informed throughout the process.
If you require your order by a specific date or need it sooner than the estimated timeframe, please get in touch before placing your order. We will always do our best to accommodate your request whenever possible.
Adelaide Delivery & Collection
If you are based in Adelaide, you are welcome to collect your order from our studio, located at 23 Jetty Road, Largs Bay, South Australia, by appointment.
Alternatively, your order will be carefully packaged, fully insured, and shipped via Australia Post or Star Track

Luxe by West is pleased to offer complimentary insured shipping on all Australian orders. Every parcel is sent with signature on delivery for added security and is shipped via StarTrack or Australia Post, depending on your location and the most suitable service.

Resizing
We offer one complimentary ring resizing within the first six months of purchase if your ring does not fit perfectly.
In some cases, resizing may not be possible due to the design of the ring or the extent of the size adjustment required. If the requested size falls beyond practical resizing limits, the ring may need to be remade. As a remake requires new materials and craftsmanship, additional charges may apply.
